BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Defending National Champion the University of California-Davis gains company at the No. 1 position as California Polytechnic State University pulls even in the Week 11/April 19 Women’s National Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll for the 2018 season.
The Aggies of UC-Davis (97 points), who captured the Sierra Pacific Division Championship last weekend, falls from rating as a unanimous top selection as the Pacific Coast Division Champion Mustangs of Cal Poly (97 points) rise up to pull even and create a tie for the top position on the Women’s National Collegiate Club stage.
Pacific Coast Division Championship runner-up the University of California-Los Angeles (91 points) remains at No. 3, while Sierra Pacific Division Championship runner-up the University of California (82 points) jumps four places to No. 4.
Southeast Division Champion the University of Florida (80 points), Mid-Atlantic Division Pennsylvania State University (73 points), Northwest Division Champion the University of Washington (68 points) and Lindenwood University (66 points) drop back to No. 5-to-7, respectively, while the University of California-Santa Barbara (60 points) and the University of California-Santa Cruz (58 points) complete the Top 10 in the final two spots.
The University of California-San Diego (47 points) and San Diego State University (43 points) rate at No. 11 and 12, with Grand Valley State University (37 points) and the University of Michigan (37 points) tying at No. 13.
Texas Division Champion Texas A&M University (32 points) improves to No. 16 with the University of Oregon (38 points) and Atlantic Division Champion Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) (19 points) tying at No. 16.
The University of Texas (18 points), the University of Southern California (8 points) and the Colorado School of Mines (7 points) conclude the Top 20 at No. 18-to-20, respectively.
