BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Boston College will stream all 12 games of the 2022 Women’s Collegiate Club New England/North Atlantic Divisions “A” Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24, live from Newton, Mass. Coverage is available for free via CWPATV.com.
A unique championship featuring the best teams from the New England and North Atlantic Division regular season standings, the event will decide the New England and North Atlantic Division champions as the top finishing teams from both groups claim their respective division crowns. For example, the top finishing New England team claims that division crown, while the top placing North Atlantic squad claims the North Atlantic title.
On April 23, action commences on Saturday, April 23, as New England No. 1 team/host Boston College takes on North Atlantic Division No. 4 the United State Coast Guard Academy at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. North Atlantic No. 2 Yale University meets New England No. 3 Boston University at 11:40 a.m., while North Atlantic No. 1 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology clashes with New England No. 4 Cornell University at 12:50 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., New England No. 2 Dartmouth College takes on North Atlantic No. 3 Tufts University to conclude first round action.
The opening day of competition concludes as with the Loser of Game 2-vs.-Loser of Game 1 (3:10 p.m.), Winner of Game 1-vs.-Winner of Game 2 (4:20 p.m.), Loser of Game 4-vs.-Loser of Game 3 (5:30 p.m.) and Winner of Game 3-vs.-Winner of Game 4 (6:40 p.m.).
On Sunday, April 24, the Loser of Game 7-vs.-Loser of Game 5 determines Seventh Place (9:30 a.m.) and the Loser of Game 8-vs.-Loser of Game 6 decides Third Place (10:40 a.m.) prior to the Winner of Game 6-vs.-Winner of Game 8 for the weekend crown (11:50 a.m.). Competition concludes at 1:00 p.m. with the Fifth Place game pitting the Winner of Game 5-vs.-Winner of Game 7.
