BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Chicago’s Andrew Lowe (Jr., Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) notched 16 goals, nine assists, nine steals and six field blocks while also winning 10 sprints to earn recognition as the October 12 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division Player of the Week.
Team captain of the Maroons, Lowe aided Chicago’s cause in games against the University of Missouri (17-12 L / eight goals), host Washington University in St. Louis (16-15 L OT / five goals), Iowa State University (13-6 L / two goals) and Missouri University of Science & Technology (8-4 W / one goal) during the teams’ lone weekend of regular season competition.
Courtesy its defeat of Missouri S&T, Chicago clinched the No. 5 seed for the Missouri Valley Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 17-18, at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa.
