BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The CWPA Remote interview series continues as United States Naval Academy midshipmen Justin Chu (So., Pomona, Calif./Ayala) talks with Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Director of Communications Ed Haas about competing at the Naval Academy.

Chu is coming off a freshman season in which he helped the Midshipmen to a 16-13 record and a Third Place finish at 2019 the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship.

A graduate of Ruben S. Ayala High School in Chino Hills, Calif., Chu helped the Bulldogs to the 2018 Palomares Varsity League Championship, as well as the 2018 Ayala Varsity Tournament Title.  He earned CIF-Southern Section All-League distinction three times (2016, 2017, 2018) and was a member of the Ayala Cycling Club (president/founder), California Scholarship Federation (officer), Ayala Korean Club (secretary), Junior State of America Club (president/founder), National Honor Society, and Debate Club.
