BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Durham University is seeking to recruit two male and two female postgraduate scholars for the 2017-18 academic year. The successful candidates will become part of the reigning British University Men’s and Women’s Water Polo National Champions.

The successful candidates will become part of Britain’s largest and most established International Postgraduate Scholar program and will compete for Britain’s Number One Team Sport University alongside studying at a world top 75 university.

Both Men’s and Women’s Water Polo squads will be looking to defend their National Championship titles in 2017/18.

Expressions of interest from all positions are encouraged.

British University Sport eligibility regulations allow the successful candidates to play for the University team regardless of the number of years played in the NCAA.

Masters qualifications are completed in one year in Britain – over 150 world class MA and MSc programmes are available.

The successful candidates will receive the following package:

  • Competitive Tuition Fee scholarship
  • Access to Durham’s Elite Athlete Support programme, including strength and conditioning, psychology and physiotherapy

  • NCAA playing experience
  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
