BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) looks back at the 2013 CWPA Championship game at Brown University pitting Iona College versus Mercyhurst University with a spot in the Ninth Place game on the line.
Garret Schoeman tallied his only goal of the match when it mattered most in finishing a six-on-five chance with 1:49 left in the first sudden death overtime period to give Mercyhurst a 12-11 victory against Iona to reach the Ninth Place game.
