WASHINGTON, D.C. — The George Washington University water polo team announced the additions of assistant coach Cameron Reagan and graduate assistant/assistant coach Vasilije Marinkovic to the staff of head coach Barry King for the 2026 campaign following distinguished college playing careers.

Reagan played for the University of California-Los Angles (UCLA) from 2019-22 as a defender/utility, leading the Bruins to a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship in 2020 and a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) title in 2021.

A native of Huntington Beach, Calif., Reagan scored 23 goals throughout in 88 games played over his four years. A staple of the Bruins defense, he played in all 27 games his senior season and led UCLA to a 22-5 record in 2022.

A three-time Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic honoree and two-time Pac-12 Fall All-Academic Team member, he is currently studying law at the GW Law School.

Marinkovic played two seasons of college water polo, beginning his career at Mount St. Mary’s (MD), where he became The Mount’s single-game saves (25) record holder, before transferring to George Washington in 2025.

GW’s primary goalkeeper last season, he made 291 saves and helping lead the Revolutionaries to the MAWPC Championship match a season ago. An All-Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Honorable Mention selection following the regular season, Marinkovic was key to GW’s run to the title match in the conference tournament by making 46 saves across three games on his way to being named to the All-Tournament First Team.

Hailing from Kotor, Montenegro, Marinkovic is also currently a student at the GW Law School.

The pair join King, who is in his tenth season leading GW water polo, and who has accumulated over 600 career wins across his time as head coach of men’s and women’s water polo at GW along with the Indiana University women’s program.
