2025 Harvard University Women’s Water Polo Schedule
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Harvard University women’s water polo will host three tournaments and play 15 straight home games to start the year as part of the 2025 season.
The Crimson opens the season with Long Island University and Wagner College on February 1 while playing four games at the Bruno Classic. After facing Indiana University and the University of Redlands on February 2, Harvard hosts the Crimson Classic the following weekend, taking on the University of California-Santa Barbara on Friday, February 7, Princeton University and Long Island on Saturday, February 8, and the University of California-San Diego on Sunday, February 9.
Harvard will play three consecutive conference games on February 22-23, hosting Saint Francis University and Bucknell University on Saturday and the University of Michigan on Sunday morning.
In its final home stretch before a long road trip, Harvard faces California Baptist University and Mercyhurst University on Saturday, March 1, followed by a conference game against Brown University and a senior day match against Wagner College on Sunday, March 2, during the Harvard Invite.
Following 15 consecutive home games, Harvard begins a 13-game road stretch, starting with Brown and Marist College in Providence on Saturday, March 8.
Harvard heads west for the Aztec Invitational at San Diego State University in San Diego. Calif., on Saturday-Sunday, March 15-16, facing the University of Southern California and UC-San Diego on Saturday and Michigan and Indiana on Sunday.
The trip concludes the following weekend with San Jose State on Friday, March 21, Stanford University on Saturday, March 22, and Santa Clara University on Sunday, March 23.
Back on the East Coast, Harvard travels to New Jersey on Saturday, March 29, for a doubleheader against Mercyhurst in the afternoon and host Princeton in the evening, starting a stretch of three Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) games to close the regular season.
In its final two road games, Harvard visits Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday, April 5, for a doubleheader against Saint Francis and Bucknell, then wraps up the regular season at home against Iona University on Saturday, April 19.
The CWPA Championship will occur on Friday-Sunday, April 25-27, at Brown in Providence, R.I.
Top scorers Maya O’Dea, Ruby Hodge and Emma Gilbert return this season, having combined for 142 of Harvard’s 305 goals last year. Senior Erin Kim returns as captain, joined by junior Ella Schneider, who was named a captain in the off-season. Rounding out the group are first-years Orli Cooper and Niki Piovan, who both competed in the U18 Water Polo World Championships.
