BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Beatrice Hearey (Fr., Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) of No. 11-ranked Harvard University scored four times in helping to double No. 13 the University of California-San Diego. For her performance, Hearey earns status as the March 16 Collegiate Water Polo Association Division I Rookie of the Week.
Competing at UC-San Diego in La Jolla on Saturday, March 14, she helped the Crimson turn back the Tritons to start a West Coast trip. She furthered Harvard’s cause by aiding the squad in taking down No. 20 San Jose State University (13-4 W) and host/No. 13 San Diego State University (14-9 W) on Sunday, March 15, in a pair of games on the final day of the 2026 Aztec Invitational.
