BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lauren Treiman (Gr., Salt Lake City, Utah/West) of Division III No. 5-ranked Washington University in St. Louis tallied 19 goals, eight assists and 19 steals during a 2-2 weekend for the Bears at home to claim status as the March 23 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Player of the Week.
Washington – which locked up the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 11-12, at the University of Notre Dame – received seven and one goal from Treiman against Illinois State University (20-7 W) and No. 15 Grand Valley State University (22-6 L) on Saturday, March 21, to begin the weekend. On Sunday, March 22, she struck for four goals in a 12-11 loss to the University of Notre Dame prior to making the difference in a 14-13 dispatching of Illinois State to conclude the division’s regular season.
