BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Cole Strohson (Sr., Newport Beach, Calif./Corona Del Mar) scored three times to lead the La Salle University Explorers to a runner-up finish at the Winter 2021 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship hosted by Bucknell University on Sunday, March 7, at Kinney Natatorium. For his performance, Strohson concludes his intercollegiate career as the March 8 MAWPC Player of the Week.
The award marks the second weekly honor of his intercollegiate tenure following Defensive Player of the Week recognition on October 14, 2019.
During a 1-1 day for the Explorers, Strohson pumped in a pair during a 6-4 semifinal defeat of George Washington University prior to netting a pair in an 11-3 title game loss to the No. 10-ranked/host Bison.
