LEBANON, Ill. — Kyle Jones turned in another double-digit save effort, but the Monmouth College offense was lacking in a 22-5 loss at McKendree University.

The Scots fell behind early when the Bearcats jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the first quarter. Jesus Aguirre got the Scots on the board with a pair of goals to cut the margin to 4-2 with 1:25 left in the opening frame, but that would be as close as the Scots would get over the remainder of the contest. Luke Mulcrone added a solo goal in the second eight minutes, but Monmouth trailed 12-3 at halftime.

Aguirre added his third goal just after the half and Dakota Salmi logged his first collegiate goal in the same quarter before McKendree shut the Scots down over the final eight minutes.
