BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — For recently founded company 98Strong – which specializes in Name, Image & Likeness rights following the loosening of both state and federal limitations on student athletes being allowed to monetize their athletic success – the roots of the company lay in the pool.

Led by the trio of former Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA)/Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference/Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) athletes Andrew Mavis (George Washington University, 2020), Nick Bunn (Harvard University, 2019) and Dina Brewer (Princeton University, 1988; Harvard University Law, 1992), the company – which derives its name from the fact that more than 98 percent of NCAA athletes do not reach the professional ranks in their respective sport — aims to leverage each student athlete’s superstar potential to monetize their NIL in the easiest way possible.

Recently featured in the New York Times, The company seeks student-athletes to join for free its proprietary system that links athletes like you together with sponsors. Per the organization’s website, “98Strong enables the talented and respected student athletes in the 98% to get the recognition and sponsors they deserve.”
