BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — In deference to a request by the participating head coaches, the March 22 meeting of No. 15-ranked the University of Michigan and Bucknell University changes from a non-conference to Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) contest. Due to the change, the 6:00 p.m, league game scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at Michigan matching the host Wolverines against the Bison is canceled. The remainder of the April 5-6 schedule remains unchanged as of March 27.
Courtesy the 19-7 win by Michigan at home in Canham Natatorium during the Wolverine Invitational on Saturday, March 22, the Maize & Blue complete a regular season sweep of the Bison. Michigan previously defeated Bucknell by a 16-13 count on Friday, March 14, in San Diego during San Diego State University’s Aztec Invitational in the first league meeting of the year between the institutions.
