PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Andras Levai, Jordan Blosser and Josh Yardley netted three goals apiece as No. 19-ranked George Washington University rolled to a 19-6 win at La Salle University to complete a perfect opening weekend of Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC)-East Region play.

The Colonials burst out of the gate at Kirk Pool to build an 8-1 lead and cruised to a victory that improved their record to 12-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play. They flashed their depth with 10 different goal scorers versus the Explorers.

With three more scores, Levai now has a team-high 55 goals through 15 games. The junior from Hungary posted an excellent weekend with 10 goals and six assists in the three victories, highlighted by a five-goal effort in a 9-8 comeback win at No. 16 Fordham University.

Yardley posted a career-high six points via three goals and three assists and also added a pair of field blocks, while Blosser notched an assist, a steal and an ejection drawn, in addition to his three goals.

Bender Russo,Antonin Kralj and Gabriele Simonti chipped in two goals apiece with Andrew Mavis, DJ Davis, Charles Faulkner and Nicholas Polydefkis also in on the scoring.

Simonti also made his debut in net in place of Matt Taylor and made five saves. Taylor stopped 10 shots before exiting.
