GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Willem Palmer (Sr., Mill Valley, Calif.) and Nick Hoffs (Jr., Laguna Beach, Calif.) both scored four times as No. 19-ranked/Atlantic Division Champion the University of Virginia topped No. 11/Texas Division Champion Texas A&M University, 19-18, to make the Fifth Place game at the 2024 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by the University of Florida.
Virginia will battle for Fifth Place at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, against the victor of a game matching tournament host/Florida Division Champion/No. 4 Florida and Great Lakes Division Champion/Division III No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis. Texas A&M will take on the fallen from the Florida/Washington game at 9:00 a.m. in a clash for Seventh Place.
