BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jovana Sekulic (Fr., Belgrade, Serbia/The Episcopal Academy) of No. 20-ranked Princeton University scored five times to help the Tigers claim Third Place at the 2022 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship. For her performance, Sekulic is named the April 25 CWPA Division I Rookie of the Week.
A three-time Rookie of the Week selection in 2022 (January 24, February 28, April 25) and the March 14 Player of the Week, Sekulic claimed Rookie of the Tournament honors by scoring once in both a defeat of Saint Francis University (12-4 W, April 22) and a loss to No. 19 Harvard University (11-9 L, April 23).
In the Third Place game on Sunday, April 24, she deposited a trio of tallies for the difference in an 11-8 dispatching of No. 22 Brown University.
