PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Santa Clara University outscored Gannon University 5-3 and 5-2 in the first and second quarters, respectively, to acquire a 10-5 lead by halftime on the way to a 20-7 defeat of the Golden Knights on the final day of the 2021 Brown University Bruno Classic at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
Chase Raisin and Jake Taylor led the way for the Broncos as the duo each deposited four goals. Michael Kreinenkamp and Cody Ferguson both notched hat-tricks with three goals, while Nico Valls ripped in a pair. Judge Washer, Patrick Guinn, Adam Low and Matt McKim chipped in solo tallies.
For Gannon, Robert Bolmanski and Anthony Squeglia both found the back of the cage to accompany single goals from Ben Fribourg, Thomas Koelling and Grant Simeone.
