BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Rosalyn Mikl of the United States Air Force Academy “A’ team stopped 27 shots with four steals in 84 minutes of work in the cage to lead the Falcons to a 3-1 mark in the opening weekend of league play at the University of Denver and earn the February 13 Women’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division Player of the Week award.
She helped Air Force top Denver (6-4 W) prior to forfeit victories over both the University of Colorado (5-0 W) and the Falcons “B” team (5-0 W). The team’s lone loss of the weekend came versus the University of Utah as the Utes escaped with a 7-6 win.
