ANNAPOLIS, Md. — 2024 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) runner-up the United States Naval Academy returned to practice on Thursday, August 14, seeking to bring the program’s 10th league championship back to the Yard.
A nine-time league champion (1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008) and 11-time runner-up (1984, 1991, 1994, 2002, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2021, 2023, 2024), the Midshipmen will begin the 2025 season on August 29 against the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA).
