BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Arizona seeks a women’s water polo collegiate club head coach.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in college-level water polo and aquatics, with a focus on educating and mentoring players in a positive and engaging manner, and attend both in and out-of-town tournaments during our spring competitive season.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct and lead training sessions in water polo 2 nights a week during the fall semester and 3 nights a week during the competitive spring semester season
- Develop personalized workout plans for the team based on their varying skill levels and goals, as well as be able to coach a team with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds.
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them improve their techniques and reach their full potential.
- Monitor player progress and provide feedback to enhance their performance.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions.
- Collaborate with the team E-Board member on team goals and expectations.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Water Polo and writing swimming workouts.
- Experience working with players in a coaching or teaching capacity.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is advantageous but not required.
