DAVIS, Calif. — The University of California-Davis seeks a part-time women’s water polo assistant coach.
Under the general direction of the women’s water polo head coach, the position assists in all aspects of a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men’s water polo program including student recruitment, scheduling, team travel, scouting opponents, practice planning, and administration of the men’s water polo programs in full compliance with NCAA and university rules and regulation

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license, certification and/or educational degree if required of the position.
- CPR & First Aid certified bi-annually.
- Collegiate, high school or club coaching experience or playing experience in the sport of water polo.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of the rules and strategies of water polo. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for the UC Davis student-athlete to compete at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student-athletes. These include UC Davis, Big West Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association policies and procedures.
