BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Sofia Goicoecha (So., San Diego, Calif./La Jolla) of No. 13-ranked the University of Colorado notched 12 goals during the span of a 3-0 weekend at the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division to earn the division’s Player of the Week award.
Colorado – which earns the Rocky Mountain Division’s spot in the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship filed at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on Friday-Sunday, April 11-13 – overwhelmed the Colorado School of Mines (20-3 W), Colorado State University (13-4 W) and the University of Utah “A” (10-7 W) behind four goals in each game by Goicoecha.
