BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Incoming University of Michigan recruit Bailee Swindells (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) will compete for New Zealand at the 2025 World Aquatics Women’s U20 Water Polo Championships on August 10-18 in Salvador, Brazil.

New Zealand will compete in Group A with the Netherlands, Spain and Israel.  Hungary, Greece, the United States and Italy play in Group B, while  Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Croatia battle in Group C.  Canada, South Africa, China and Australia will clash in Group D.

Named the 2024 New Zealand Water Polo (NZWP) Rookie Coach of the Year during the 2025 Water Polo New Zealand Awards, Swindells will join the Wolverines for the 2026 season.
