BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alyssa Waterson (Jr., Davis, Calif./Davis) of the University of Oregon “A” accounted for eight goals, four assists and a pair of steals during a 2-1 weekend to help the Ducks reach the title game of the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Club Northwest Division Championship hosted by Gonzaga University at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Couer d’Alene, Idaho. For her performance, Waterson is recognized as the March 3 Northwest Division tri-Player of the Week.
She shares the award with Eliza Wilkins (Sr., Seattle, Wash./Ingraham) and Iben Orton (Fr., Bend, Ore./Summit) of No. 11-ranked the University of Washington “A” who combined for 19 goals, 23 assists, 14 steals and a pair of field blocks as the Huskies captured the division title.
Waterson punched in three markers during a tournament opening 19-1 defeat of Western Washington University prior to scoring once in an 8-7 victory over Oregon State University “A”. Her lone goal against the Beavers came with 1:33 left on the clock in the fourth quarter for the deciding blow in advancing the Ducks to a division title game clash versus Washington “A”.
Taking on the nationally-ranked Huskies in a 16-9 title tilt loss, she scored twice in the second quarter and once in the third quarter as Oregon “A” attempted to rally back from a 6-0 first quarter deficit to trail 8-6 with 4:17 left in the third quarter.
