COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Following consideration of the consequences for not competing and forfeiting the 11th Place game of the 2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Sunday, May 5, No. 13-ranked/Northwest Division Champion the University of Washington has elected to compete in the contest at 3:30 p.m. Central.against host/No. 11/Texas Division Champion Texas A&M University.

If Washington did not compete, the Northwest Division would receive the No. 15 seed for the 2025 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship with other league consequences for forfeiting a game also a possibility.
