BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — As part of a continuing series providing updates on what fields past Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) athletes are excelling in currently, the league looks at former University of Michigan goalkeeper Sally Stone.

A Partner Manager at social media giant Facebook, Stone played Division I water polo for the Wolverines in 2005 and 2006 prior to graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History.

From 2009 to 2012, she worked on staff for Texas Congressman Michael McCaul in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. In this role, she was a Legislative Aide responsible for leading the Congressman’s Homeland Security and Cybersecurity legislation. Sally drafted and lobbied for House Bill 2096, the Cyber Security Enhancement Act of 2012, which passed on the House Floor on April 4th, 2012. She also drafted over twelve Amendments during her time on the Hill.

In 2012, she attended The University of Texas at Austin, The Red McCombs School of Business-Master’s program and graduate in 2014 with a Master of Business Administration in the field of Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.

In 2014, Stone joined Facebook in Austin, Texas as a Partner Manager, Agency and Partnership Team. Since then, she has earned a series of promotions leading her to the current position of Global Development Manager in Menlo Park, California. Sally manages the development program for executive leadership and their direct reports of the Product Marketing organization.

In 2017 she was named to the Board of Trustees of the Georges and Germaine Fusenot Charity Foundation which has a goal, “to enrich the lives and lifestyle of Californians and their guests by providing funding grants to state-based non-profit organizations.”
