BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — For fans seeking to know where the 2023-24 Collegiate Water Polo Association/Northeast Water Polo Conference/Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championships are slated to occur, the league can provide some information.

2023 Men’s Season:

  • Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship: The championship is slated to occur in the Atlantic Division.  However, if the division declines, it will proceed to the Pacific Coast, Texas and Rocky Mountain Divisions in the order designated by the site rotation.
  • Men’s Division III Collegiate Club Championship:  Due to the 2000, 2001 and 2022 events not taking place, the North Atlantic Division retains hosting rights for 2023.  However, if the division declines the championship will occur in either the Heartland, New York or New England divisions in the order designated by the site rotation.
  • Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championship:  Bucknell University.  If Bucknell declines, the site moves to the United States Naval Academy.
  • Northeast Water Polo Conference Championship:  Harvard University (Note: Brown University hosted in 2022 for Harvard due to the Crimson hosting the Harvard-Yale University football game.  Harvard assumes Brown’s designated position in 2023 as the two institutions traded the 2022 and 2023 spots in cooperative sportsmanship.)  If Harvard declines, the site remains in Cambridge, Mass., at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

2024 Women’s Season:

  • Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship: The championship is slated to occur in the Texas Division.  However, if the division declines, it will proceed to either the Big Ten, New York or New York Divisions in the order designated by the site rotation.
  • Women’s Division III Collegiate Club Championship:  Due to the 2003 event not taking place, the New England Division retains hosting rights for 2024.  However, if the division declines the championship will occur in either the Heartland, New York or Mid-Atlantic divisions in the order designated by the site rotation.
  • Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Championship:  Utica University.  If Utica declines, the site moves to Penn State Behrend as the rotation of East-West schools hosting remains in place.
  • Collegiate Water Polo Association Division I Championship: Harvard University.  If Harvard declines, the site moves to Brown University.
