BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Notre Dame’s Lauren Rodenberg (Jr., El Dorado Hills, Calif./Oak Ridge) earns accolades as the April 8 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Player of the Week for scoring 18 goals to power the Irish to a 4-0 record in the final regular season league weekend at Washington University in St. Louis.
Notre Dame, which concludes the regular season with an 8-0 mark to claim the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Midwest Division Champion on Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14, at home in the Rolfs Aquatic Center, topped Miami University (17-6 W), Grand Valley State University (13-7 W), Illinois State University (18-10 W) and the host Bears (20-7 W) during the four-game weekend trip to Missouri.
Rodenberg tallied six versus Miami, five facing Grand Valley, four against Washington and three more in the weekend finale against Illinois State while also leading the Irish in exclusions drawn.
