LORETTO, Pa. — The Saint Francis University water polo is proud to announce the signing of Addison Williams.
Williams, a center defender from Sanger, California, is a balanced player as her career stats of 147 goals, 69 assists, 164 steals, and 63 drawn exclusions can attest. Her water polo career started at the tender age of nine years old. In 2015, her junior varsity squad went undefeated and she was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and team captain. Her Sanger High team in 2016 were undefeated league champions.
In 2017, she had a banner year both personally and individually: she was named the Sanger High School Water Polo Best Offensive Player of the Year and the squad once again went undefeated. For 2018, she was awarded Sanger High MVP and the County Metro Athletic Conference MVP. Williams has also excelled out of the pool with numerous academic honors.
Coach Jay O’Neil on Williams: “We are very excited to have Addison join the Red Flash Family. Her work ethic and talent are a great addition to the program we are building. Addison is a speedy center defender who also has a nose for the goal on the offensive end. We are very pleased to have her joining the program.”
