2022 Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2022 Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division schedule.
Featuring California State University-Chico, California State University-Fresno (Fresno State), Saint Mary’s College, the University of California “A”, the University of California “B”, the University of California-Davis “A”, the University of California-Davis “B”, the University of California-Santa Cruz “A” and the University of California-Santa Cruz “B”, the division schedule is comprised of regular season tournaments at UC-Davis in Davis, Calif., on February 26-27 and Fresno State in Fresno, Calif., on March 5-6.
The regular season tournaments establish the seeding for the Sierra Pacific Division Championship on April 9-10 at a site to be determined. The victor of the tournament advances to the 2022 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at a site to be determined.
In the history of the division, Fresno State (2007), UC-Davis (2008, 2009, 2011, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), UC-Santa Cruz (2010, 2012) and California (2015) hold previous titles since the formation of the group prior to the 2007 season.
A Sierra Pacific Division champion was not crowned during either the 2020 or 2021 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic terminating completion and start of the campaigns, respectively.
