PRINCETON, N.J. — Princeton University’s Alana Evans (Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) was named The Friends of Women’s Water Polo Tiger Award winner.
“Alana is a perfect representative for this award,” said Princeton head coach Derek Ellingson. “She was a great leader for us over the last several years and we wish her the best of luck as she moves on to the next phase of her life after graduation.”
This season, Evans played in 28 games, contributing 10 goals, 44 assists and 36 steals as Princeton went 21-10 and finished third at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship hosted by Bucknell University. She graduates with 69 career contests, 21 goals and 73 assists.
