BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Week 14/April 22 Women’s Varsity National Top 25, Division III Top 10 and CWPA Division III Top Five Polls.
Stanford University remains at No. 1 in the Top 25, while Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges displaces Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at No. 1 in the Division III Top 10 after capturing the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) title. Macalester College continues at No. 1 in the CWPA Division III Top 5.
Voted on by a panel of coaches from around the country based on the cumulative results of the season, the polls are compiled and released on Wednesday during the season.
2026 Women’s Varsity National Top 25 (Week 14)
Due to a lack of competition, the 2026 Week 14/April 22 Women’s Varsity National Top 25 Poll remains unchanged from the Week 13/April 15 balloting.
Stanford University (100 points), the University of Southern California (95 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (93 points), the University of California (88 points), the University of Hawaii (82 points), Loyola Marymount University (76 points), Arizona State University (74 points), Long Beach State University (71 points), Harvard University (66 points), the University of California-Irvine (62 points), Princeton University (57 points), Indiana University (55 points), Fresno State University (51 points), the University of California-Davis (46 points), the University of Michigan (42 points), the University of California-San Diego (39 points), Wagner College (35 points), San Diego State University (32 points), San Jose State University (31 points), University of the Pacific (25 points), Marist University (20 points), Concordia University (18 points), California State University-Northridge (11 points) and California Baptist University (11 points) stay at No. 1-to-23, while VIllanova University (6 points) and Brown University (6 points) remain tied at No. 25.

2026 Women’s Varsity Division III Top 10 (Week 14)
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges takes over at No. 1 in the 2026 Week 14/April 22 Women’s Varsity Division III Top 10 Poll after defeating previously top-billed Pomona-Pitzer Colleges for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) title over the weekend.
CMS (99 points) and Pomona-Pitzer (96 points) exchange the top two positions in the Top 10 with California Lutheran University (90 points), Chapman University (85 points), Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Champion Macalester College (79 points), Whittier College (74 points), CWPA Division III runner-up Carthage College (68 points) and Augustana College (62 points) remaining at No. 3-to-8.
Occidental College (52 points) takes over at No. 9 with the University of Redlands (22 points) and Austin College (22 points) tying at No. 10.

2026 Women’s Varsity Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Top 5 (Week 14)
2026 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Champion Macalester College spends another seven-day run at No. 1 in the Week 14/April 22 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Top Five poll.
The 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2026 CWPA Division III champion Scots (100 points) – which downed Carthage College (95 points) by a 14-9 score on Sunday, April 12, to win the league’s Division III crown in Norton, Mass., at Wheaton College – leads a Top Five which experiences no changes. Carthage, Augustana College (90 points), Austin College (84 points) and Grove City College (49 points) maintain their prior positions in the rankings.
