ERIE, Pa. — Former Penn State Behrend women’s water polo/swimming athlete Anne (Lawrence) Sekulski ’12 is among nine individuals selected for induction into the College’s Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

A native of State College, Pa., and a graduate of State College High School, Lawrence was one of the most decorated athletes at Penn State Behrend in swimming and water polo from 2008-12.

She was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2012, along with earning NCAA All-America honors in water polo her senior year. She was captain of the Behrend women’s swimming and diving team in 2011 and captained the water polo team in 2012.

Lawrence was also named AMCC Swimmer of the Year in 2010 and 2011, and captured MVP honors twice (2011-2012). She earned the water polo leadership award in 2012, and was Newcomer of the Year in 2009.

Lawrence graduated from Behrend in May of 2013 with a bachelor of science in psychology and received a Masters in Business Administration from the college
