BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Katie Dvonich (Fr., Seal Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) tallied six goals, three assists and two steals during a 2-0 weekend for Brown University at the Harvard University Mini in Cambridge, Mass. For her performance, Dvonich earns status as the January 27 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
She opened the 2020 season and her intercollegiate career by netting a hat-trick with three goals and an assist in a 14-6 defeat of Iona College at Harvard’s Blodgett Pool on Saturday, January 25. She wrapped up her opening weekend of college competition by tacking on three more goals with pairs of assists and steals in a 12-5 victory over Villanova University.
