BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Due to a lack of competition leading up to the 2017 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, May 5-7, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2017 Women’s National Collegiate Club Week 13/May 4 Top 20 Poll with no changes.
The University of California-Davis (97 points), San Diego State University (96 points), California Polytechnic State University (92 points), Grand Valley State University (84 points), the University of Central Florida (75 points), The Ohio State University (73 points) and the University of Washington (69 points) retain their prior spots.
The University of Michigan (66 points), the University of California (54 points) and the University of Pittsburgh (43 points) hold firm at No. 8-to-10, respectively, and round out the top half of the National Top 20.
Texas A&M University (36 points), the University of Virginia (33 points) and Boston College (27 points) rate at No. 11-to-13 with the University of Notre Dame (26 points) and Pennsylvania State University (26 points) tying once again at No. 14.
The University of Utah (25 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (23 points), McKendree University (22 points) and Dartmouth College (13 points) control the No. 16-to-19 berths this week, with the duo of the University of Oregon (12 points) and the University of California-Los Angeles (12 points) rounding out the Top 20 in a tie for the final slot.
