LORETTO, Pa. —  Saint Francis University women’s water polo welcomes another signing to the program’s 2022 class in the person of Brisbane, Australia native Isabel Lumley.

The second goalie in this class joining Naperville, Ill., native Grace Raquel, Lumley will arrive in Loretto following a decorated career in Brisbane as she was awarded Team Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors in 2020 on her club team; the Carina Warriors. she was also named to the Metropolitan North Schools Team in 2020-21 for her performance in net.

“We are very excited to have Izzy joining the Red Flash family.” said SFU head coach Jay O’Neil.  “Izzy brings with her a tremendous amount of international experience and is very comfortable  with playing goalie in a zone defense.  It was very important for us to find a goalie with this type of experience to join us mid season.  We are excited to see both of our mid season additions grow with this young team.”

Lumley will join the Red Flash next semester and will major in Engineering when she arrives at Saint Francis.
