BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Niki Piovan (So., Vouliagmeni, Greece/HAEF Athens College) of No. 13-ranked Harvard University posted 10 goals with a pair of assists during a 3-0 home stand for the Crimson at Blodgett Pool during the 2026 Bruno Classic. For her performance, she is named the January 26 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.
The 2025 CWPA Rookie of the Year and CWPA Championship Rookie of the Tournament, she netted three goals in a 12-5 victory over Iona University on Friday, January 23, before accounting for a pair of goals and assists in a 12-5 defeat of No. 20 Wagner College on Saturday, January 24. In Harvard’s final game of the weekend on January 24 against No. 25 Long Island University, she put away five goals as the Crimson rolled to a 23-3 win.
