BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alice Lemmon (Fr., Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) of Division III No. 6-ranked Macalester College contributed six goals, four assists and five steals during a 3-2 West Coast road trip for the Scots to earn the March 23 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Rookie of the Week award.
She accounted for two goals and an assist at the California Institute of Technology (8-3 W) on Thursday, March 19, before striking for an assist at Division III No. 7 Whittier College (7-5 W) and a goal, two assists and a steal at Division III No. 4 Chapman University (12-8 L) on Friday, March 20.
On Saturday, March 21, she capped off the five game span with two goals and three steals in a 7-6 sudden death overtime win at Division III No. 10 the University of Redlands prior to chipping in a goal and a steal during a 19-3 setback at California State University-Fullerton.
