CAMBRIDGE, Mass. The No. 16-ranked Harvard University men’s water polo defeated rivals Brown University and Division III No. 8-ranked the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at Blodgett Pool. The Crimson defeated Brown, 10-8, before scoring 18 goals in an 18-10 defeat of MIT. Harvard sweeps the season series against both Brown and MIT. 

Against Brown, Owen Hale tallied four goals and three steals, while Mot Stothart scored twice. 

James Rozolis-Hill posted two goals and drew five knockouts with Michael Sonsini chipping in a pair of assists. 

Kaleb Archer tallied one goal in the win. 

Noah Hodge was solid in net with 10 saves.

The Crimson lead 2-1 after the first quarter thanks to goals from Stothart and Rozolis-Hill. 

Stothart added another goal in the second as Harvard stretched the lead to 5-3 heading into half. 

The Crimson scored five goals in the third quarter on its way to hanging on in the fourth quarter. 

In the nightcap versus MIT, Tyler Zarcu recorded a hat-trick while also tallying an assist. 

Hale chiped in three steals along a goal and an assist, while Rozolis-Hill added another four-goal game and tacked on a pair of assists in the victory. 

Sonsini had two goals and two assists to join captain Alex Tsotadze (three goals, one assist) in posting four-point games.

Alex JamesKaleb Archer and Alexandru Bucur all scored once. 

Tanner Furtak made five saves including one on a five-meter penalty shot.
