BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Megan Newby (Fr., Atherton, Calif./Sacred Heart Preparatory) of No. 22-ranked Brown University accounted for six goals and two assists in a 24-8 defeat of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) at home in the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center to post the March 9 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week award.
The first-year has 20 goals and nine assists to date in 2026.
