No. 9 United States Naval Academy-vs.-No. 4 University of Florida Scoresheet (2026 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship – 11th Place)

CARLISLE, Pa. — Eleanor Duffy (Sr., Orlando, Fla.) and Marlie Hayes (Sr., Orlando, Fla.) scored five and four times, respectively, to share Player of the Game recognition as No. 4/No. 12 position/Southeast Division Champion the University of Florida took down No. 9/No. 14 position/Atlantic Division Champion the United States Naval Academy, 15-2, in the 11th Place game of the 2026 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship hosted at the Carlisle YMCA Aquatic Center.

Florida – which garners the program’s first finish at Nationals outside the Top 10 following prior first (2019), second (2001, 2006), third (2002, 2004, 2012, 2018), fourth (2003, 2016), fifth (2000, 2011), seventh (2008, 2022), eighth (2014) and ninth (2005, 2007) place marks – never trailed in opening up a 3-0 lead in the first quarter, expanding the spread to 7-1 and 10-2 by the termination of the second and third quarters, respectively, before capping off its scoring with a 5-0 outburst over the final seven minutes of regulation in the fourth quarter.

Eva Meyler (Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Lillie Herron (Gr., Orlando, Fla.), Natalie Carpenter (So., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Bianca Valsecchi (Sr., Orlando, Fla.), Lorena Campos (Jr., Madrid, Spain) and Coral Uzgiden (So., Boca Raton, Fla.) contributed solo strikes to join Duffy and Hayes in the Gators’ scoring column.

In cage, Elin Brugge (Sr., Sanford, Fla.) made eight saves and allowed one marker in the first half prior to Ana Dal Bo (So., Curitiba, Brazil) recording three saves with a goal allowed in the second half.

First-time National Collegiate Club Championship participant Navy received single goals from Mia Keane (Sr., Carlsbad, Calif.) and Myha Pinto (Jr., Laguna Beach, Calif.) with goalkeeper Sophia Ochoa (Fr., San Antonio, Texas) notching eight saves.
