BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Shanna Davidson (Fr., Huntington Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) of No. 14-ranked Princeton University contributed nine goals during a 3-0 weekend for the Tigers at the 2023 Bucknell University Invitational to record recognition as the February 13 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
Following a 9-7 dispatching of No. 21 Long Island University on Saturday, February 11, she dominated Villanova University by scoring five times and drawing a pair of exclusions as the Tigers pounced on the Wildcats, 13-6.
Davidson – who earns her inaugural weekly honor from the league office – concluded the weekend at Bucknell’s Kinney Natatorium by posting four markers in an 18-3 managing of Mount St. Mary’s University on Sunday, February 12.
