BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lailey Khatibloo (Fr., Seattle, Wash./Newport) of Washington University in St. Louis contributed 13 goals, two assists and eight steals during a 2-2 weekend for the Bears during the final weekend of Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division action at the St. Peter’s Rec Plex in St. Peters, Mo., to earn the division’s April 1 Player of the Week award.
She aided Washington in downing the University of Cincinnati (11-6 W) and Miami University (5-0 W Forfeit) and in contests against Grand Valley State University (22-7 L) and the University of Notre Dame (14-9 L) as the Bears clinched the No. 4 seed for the Midwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 13-14, at Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind.
