2022 Women’s Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2022 Women’s Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division schedule.
Featuring Bates College, Bowdoin College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Middlebury College, Tufts University, the United States Coast Guard Academy, Wellesley College and Yale University, the eight-team division will contest a pair of regular season tournaments at Bowdoin in Brunswick, Maine, on March 5-6 and April 9-10.
The regular season events establish the seeds for the North Atlantic Division Championship on April 22-23 at Middlebury in Middlebury, Vt. The victor of the tournament advances to the 2022 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at a site to be determined.
In the history of the division, MIT (2005, 2006, 2007, 2017, 2019), Middlebury (2010, 2011), Bowdoin (2012, 2014), Yale (2013, 2016), Tufts (2018) and former division members Boston College (2008, 2009) and Boston University (2015) hold previous North Atlantic Division Championship crowns.
A North Atlantic Division champion was not crowned during either the 2020 or 2021 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic terminating completion and start of the campaigns, respectively.
