2023 Augustana College Women’s Water Polo Schedule
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — The Augustana College Vikings’ 2023 women’s water polo schedule has been released.
Augustana kicks off its 2023 campaign on February 11 on the road at McKendree University. The Bearcats defeated the Vikings twice last season, with the latter half of their match-ups resulting in a close 10-9 victory for McKendree in Rock Island.
The Vikings head to St. Paul, Minn. the following weekend for the Macalester College Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, February 18-19, followed by a trip to California for the Claremont Convergence on March 3-4.
Augustana’s home opener takes place on March 11 in a return game against McKendree. The Vikings remain at home to host a regional Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III-West Region tournament on Saturday-Sunday, March 18-19 with games against Carthage College, Macalester, Austin College and Wittenberg University.
The CWPA Division III regular season comes to a close on Saturday-Sunday, April 1-2, at Carthage in Kenosha, Wisc., with games versus Austin, Wittenberg, Macalester and Carthage.
The CWPA Division III Championship will occur on Friday-Sunday, April 21-23, at Macalester to decide the league’s pair of qualifiers for the USA Water Polo Division III National Championship on May 6-7 at a site in the CWPA.
