2020 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women’s Division I League Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the schedule of games for the 2020 Women’s Division I season.

Comprised of Brown University, Bucknell University, George Washington University, Harvard University, Princeton University, Saint Francis University and the University of Michigan, the league schedule begins on Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29, as Brown, Michigan and Princeton come to Loretto, Pa., and the campus of Saint Francis for six non-conference contests at the SFU Pool.

Princeton hosts the opening date of league play as the Tigers welcome Brown, Bucknell, George Washington, Harvard, Michigan and Saint Francis to the Garden State for nine games at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J., on Saturday-Sunday, April 4-5.

Bucknell, George Washington, Harvard, Michigan, Princeton and Saint Francis will trek to Providence, R.I., on the weekend of Friday-Saturday, April 10-11, as Brown hosts 10 games at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.

A pair of single games wrap-up the regular season slate as Brown will host Harvard on Saturday, April 18, at a time to be determined, while George Washington will host Princeton in Washington, D.C., on a date and at a time to be determined in the coming weeks.

The regular season action sets the seeds for the CWPA Championship on Friday-Sunday, April 24-26, at Michigan’s Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Mich.  The victor of the league championship earns a spot in the 2020 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Women’s Water Polo Championship field.
